Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. lived a short life but in his short years on this earth he achieved more than most of us can dream. He was a pastor, a civil rights leader, and a noble prize winner at the age of thirty-five. Dr. King’s strong belief in doing right for others was visible in his speeches, interviews, and actions. Dr. King had his own dream and inspired by Ghandi’s success with non-violent activism; he sought equal rights for all.
I watched old interviews and speeches online and there were many things I noticed about Dr. King. He listened to questions carefully and answered eloquently. He gave intelligent and thoughtful answers to political questions aimed at him from reporters. He captivated his listeners and had a method of pulling them in to hear his truth, which may have made him one of the best orators of all time. In…
