Today, we headed to a festival near the lake and boy were we in for a treat. A beautiful horse named Riley was there giving rides to the local visitors. Her owner Steve began his tale about the history of the canal as Riley trotted off pulling us behind.
The boys stopped to pet Benny the Bunny and some other animals. They ran back and forth across an area of the old canal, and there was even time to stop and listen to some music.
Then it was back to the lake to relax while dad and grandpa took the boys out fishing. A fun day for all the family!

Thanks Kate. We had no idea what was at the festival so the carriage ride was a nice surprise! Boys enjoyed petting the animals and running around. It’s always a good day when I see them laughing and having fun 🙂
